HOW DO I STOP THE "THIS PAGE CONTAINS BOTH SECURE AND NONSECURE ITEMS" MESSAGE?

This means some elements on your secure site (https://) are being sources from a non-secure source. This could be image, iframes, flash etc hosted outside of the secure site.

One possible solution is to input https:// into all the URLS of the possible offending images, iframes, flash etc.

E.g. <img src=”https://www.SSL247.com/image1.png”

This isn’t recommended for a large site as it adds extra processing when your visitor’s browser loads SSL images from a non-secure site. It may not even work if the image is being loaded from a site that doesn’t have SSL.

A second possible solution is instead of changing the URLS to https:// you change them to // for the insecure web pages.

E.g. <img src=”/ / www.SSL247.com/image2.png”

If they are on the same domain, access them relatively

E.g. <img src=”image.png”>

This way, the browser will understand that it must load the image securely if the page is being loaded securely. And it will also load the image correctly if the page is being loaded insecurely. The image will still need to be available on another secure server.

This should remove the “Do you want to display the non-secure items?” message.
